The U21 Health Sciences Group (HSG) was established to provide faculty within U21 member universities with a framework for exploring opportunities for collaborative research, information exchange, and sharing of resources. One of the inter-professional programs run by the U21 HSG is a summer school for students in health science disciplines.
A second program is the Global Learning Partnership project, which presents the opportunity to develop a cooperative relationship and opportunity for students and academics from the U21 HSG to interact with students and academics from other universities, including an invited university in a country with UN Millennium Development Goal needs. The partnership is founded on the building of a relationship between U21 HSG member universities and an invited partner.
